Naturopaths treat a range of illnesses from acute conditions to chronic complaints using nutritional supplements, minerals, herbal medicine, diet and lifestyle advice. Naturopaths are trained to use both modern medical forms of diagnosis as well as traditional forms such as Iridology.

Live Blood Analysis

Live blood screening helps your Naturopath identify signs of:

Food Allergy Test

A food intolerance test can be conducted to help to identify up to 40 foods your body is reacts with or is intolerant to. The test can be conducted quickly during a short Naturopathic consultation with the results available in 1-2 days. You receive a report of your results as well as a management plan to counteract the effects of your food intolerance.

What natural medicines can I expect to be treated with?

You may be prescribed herbal medicines, nutritional supplements, dietary or lifestyle advice, homeopathy, flower essences, meditation, relaxation guidance or ear candling.

Can I have Naturopathic treatment concurrently with allopathic treatment and medications?

Yes. Naturopathy can be used as a complimentary medicine which can work with your current medical treatment. Any medications you are taking will be assessed for potential drug interactions or side effects with natural medicines.

Does Natural medicine work?

The Naturopathic philosophy for treatment of health complaints has been used for hundreds of years and in the case of Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine (which naturopathy draws upon), it has been used for thousands of years. Now more than ever, through increased research, naturopaths have the ability to use their skills confidently as a complimentary medicine to traditional medical methods.

Health Insurance Rebates/ HICAPS

Health insurance rebates are available if your insurance includes extras and Osteopathy is included. Please check with your health fund. We are able to process your claims on the spot with HICAS. please bring your health insurance card.

Medicare

Rebates aren't available for Naturopaths.
